Privacy Policy (GDPR)

1. Who we are

BeFounders.Club ("we", "us") operates the founder network platform at befounder.club. We are part of the InspireXChange ecosystem. For privacy enquiries contact: privacy@befounder.club.

2. Data we collect

• Identity & contact: name, email, club preference
• Founder assessment data: VentureID scores, 64 sub-area ratings, FounderID dimensions
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookie identifiers
• Marketing preferences and referral codes

3. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

• Consent — marketing emails, non-essential cookies
• Contract — club membership and assessment services you request
• Legitimate interest — platform security, anonymised cohort analytics

4. How we use your data

To deliver Founder Score assessments, manage club membership, send service emails via Brevo, improve our VentureID/FounderID methodology, and — with consent — share relevant opportunities within the founder network.

5. Data retention

Assessment and membership data is retained while your account is active plus 24 months thereafter, unless you request earlier deletion. Marketing consent records are kept for 5 years for compliance.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you may access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@befounder.club. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Processors

We use Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Brevo (email), and Vercel Blob (file storage). Data may be processed in the EU/EEA and US under appropriate safeguards (SCCs where applicable).
